My child already gets therapy somewhere else. What do I do?

If your child currently receives therapy with another provider and you’d like to transition their services to TKC Therapy, please request a TKC Therapy Consent Form from your center’s leadership team. Be sure to include your child’s current therapy provider’s information in the appropriate section of the form.

Once completed, we will:

  1. Request the evaluation report from the current provider.
  2. Obtain a transfer of service authorization from your child’s PCP and insurance for services to be provided by TKC Therapy.

This process typically takes less than a week, provided we receive the evaluation report promptly.

What insurances do you accept?

In Florida, we currently accept plans including CMS, Humana Medicaid, Simply, Sunshine, NICA, and Tricare. We’re continually working to establish contracts with additional Medicaid plans and commercial providers.

In Texas, we accept all major SMMC plans available in our region.

If you have questions about a specific plan in your state, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’ll do our best to assist you!

Can my child receive services through TKC Therapy if they don’t attend the The Kidz Club PPEC?

Not yet! We’re actively working toward offering outpatient services. For now, a child must be enrolled in The Kidz Club’s PPEC program to receive TKC Therapy. Stay tuned for updates!

Can I watch sessions?

To comply with HIPAA regulations, session observations are only allowed with special permission. If you’d like to schedule an observation, please contact your child’s therapist, who will do their best to accommodate your request.

Why can’t my child get more therapy?

Insurance coverage for therapy sessions is based on several factors, including the child’s diagnosis, severity of impairments, responsiveness to treatment, test scores (when applicable), and more. While we strive to provide the maximum amount of therapy each week, insurance often imposes limitations on session frequency and duration. If you have any questions about your child’s therapy schedule or coverage, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help!

Do you offer ABA therapy?

Although TKC Therapy does not directly provide ABA services, we partner with ABA companies to allow them to deliver their services within our facilities. If your child is already working with an ABA provider, their RBT or BCBA is welcome to provide therapy at our centers, provided they adhere to our policies, procedures, and values.
